The American Muslim Democratic Caucus is dedicated to promoting the involvement of Muslim Americans in the Democratic Party for the benefit of all Americans.
ABOUT THE AMDC
AMDC Reception at 2008 Democratic National Convention
The eyes – and the television cameras – of the United States (in fact, of  the whole world) will be focused on Denver when the Democratic Party holds its National Convention at the Pepsi Center. That seminal event will feature over 5,000 delegates and alternates, virtually every important leader in the party and tens of thousands of media organizations from around the world reporting on the proceedings of the convention, its various committees and caucuses, interviews with hundreds of individuals and groups, demonstrations and protest marches etc. around the clock.

Many special interest groups will hold events to draw attention to themselves and promote their agenda. This is a very effective device for the education of the public, the press and the politicians.

For the first time in history, AMDC will trumpet the importance and significance of the millions strong Muslim American electorate by highlighting the scores of Muslim delegates and alternates at a star-studded luncheon/reception.
